Add Copy to Folder option in right click menu

Hello Friends. Is copying a file or folder to another folder difficult in Windows?? When we need to copy a file or folder to another folder, we as usually select that file and then right click, click on Copy from the Context Menus and after that go to the desired folder and click on Paste button from the context menus or from the shortcut menus etc. etc. But this is too much boring.

Our all these difficulties will remove if there is a menu in the context menu named the “Copy to Folder” which on click shows a dialog box where to paste the selected folder without clicking copy and paste twice which is very time saving and we need not to go to our desired page to paste there. This trick will show you how to add “Copy to Folder” in right click of a file or folder.

We can add “Copy to Folder…” command easily by editing the “Registry Editor” a little of Windows Xp/ 7/ 8. For this, first of all you need to open the Registry Editor. To open it, go to Start >> Run >> Type “Regedit” in the box and hit enter. Or you can press the Windows Logo Key+ R to start run and type regedit there and hit enter. The registry Editor will open. Now, expand the “HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT” option from the left panel of the registry editor. Then expand “AllFilesystemObjects”  >> “shellex” >> Open “ContextMenuHandlers”. Now, on the right panel, right click and click on “New”. Name it “Copy to Folder” and double click on the string value named “(Default)” from the right panel of the “Copy to Folder” registry key. Now add this value to the box (with {} brackets).

Now, close Registry Editor and restart your pc. Start desktop and see Copy to Folder has been added to the right click menu of the files or folder
